2019 Annual HAI Caucus: Infection Prevention: Saving Lives One Best Practice at a Time

This program is designed to cover a variety of topics related to infection prevention, antimicrobial stewardship, state and federal regulations, and services offered by the State of Nevada. Our goal is to present the most current information and treatment methodologies and to emphasize implementation at a facility level. Presented by The Nevada Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and the Nevada Healthcare Associated Infection Program.

The event is free, and nurses and nursing home administrators are eligible for 6.5 CEU credits. To register, visit, or contact for more information.

Crowns & Tiaras Big Hat High Tea

Join fellow nurses at the Nevada Nurses Foundation's Royalty "Crowns & Tiaras" Big Hat High Tea. This is the fifth annual event and has always been well-attended. Inclusivity in Nursing

The Nevada Nurses Association (NNA), along with the Nevada Nurses Foundation (NNF) and the Nevada Nursing Student Association (NVNSA), are planning a collaborative convention. The theme for the convention is Inclusivity in Nursing and will feature nationally known keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and poster presentations. Continuing education hours will be awarded. Abstract submission and registration information will be available on the NNA website in early May, 2019.
