Nevada Nurses Association

Nevada RNformation (RNF) is the official publication of the Nevada Nurses Association. It is published quarterly and delivered electronically via email to approximately 60,000 Registered Nurses, APRNs, and Licensed Practical Nurses licensed in Nevada. Current NNA members receive a directly mailed hardcopy publication. The newsletter contains a variety of articles of interest to professional nursing practice in our state. Regular columns and articles provide up-to-date information and resources for delivery of healthcare across our state. Nevada RNformation is cataloged and available online and in the EBSCOhost CINAHL Complete database.

Submit Articles to Nevada RNformation

Submission Dates

Submission of articles are welcome and open year-round. Deadlines for the Monthly E-News & Updates are the first Friday of the prior month. Quarterly issues of Nevada RNF are published every January, April, July, and August. Deadlines for the quarterly issues are the first Fridays of November, February, May, and August. However, acceptance of an article is not a guarantee of publication in the most proximal issue of RNF due to an issue's space constraints.

RNF Editorial Board

Members of the Editorial Board act as ambassadors for the publication and Nevada Nurses Association (NNA). Their voluntary role is to assist the Editor by objectively and confidentially peer reviewing submitted manuscripts, advising the Editor on strategy and development for the publication, approaching potential contributors and colleagues to submit articles, and supporting the mission and functions of NNA. Board members are highly respected nursing peers from various nursing roles, educational levels, and practice settings.
